We collect only what we need to run the class and, if you go further, to work with you on a deal:

• When you register for a class: your first and last name, email address, mobile number if you give one, how you heard about us, and whether you agreed to receive text messages.
• When you apply to partner: the answers you give in the application, including your stated capital range, funding source, timeline and experience.
• Automatically, when you browse: your IP address, the pages you visit, the site or advert that referred you, and a randomly generated visitor identifier stored in a cookie.
• If you become a partner: the information needed to document and administer a deal, which is described to you in your contract.

We do not ask for, and ask that you do not send us, your Social Security number, bank credentials or payment card details by email or through a form on this site.

From third parties only where you have asked them to pass information to us, or where a lender, title company or attorney involved in your deal needs to share it with us to complete that deal.

We use your information to:

• hold your seat at a class and send you the joining details and reminders;
• answer your questions and arrange a conversation with our team;
• assess whether a partnership is a fit, and administer it if you go ahead;
• meet our legal, tax and record-keeping obligations;
• understand which pages and adverts bring people to the site, so we spend our marketing money sensibly.

We do not sell your information. We do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

We send text messages only to people who have ticked the box asking for them. Message frequency varies. Standard message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to opt out, or HELP for help. Opting out of texts does not cancel your class registration.

We share information with service providers who help us run the business, and only to the extent they need it: our website host, our email provider, our customer relationship management system, our payment processor, and the professionals involved in a specific deal (lender, title company, attorney, accountant).

We may also disclose information where the law requires it, or to establish or defend a legal claim.

Class registrations and attendance records are kept for three years. Applications that do not lead to a partnership are kept for two years. Records relating to a completed deal are kept for seven years, or longer where tax or property law requires. Website analytics are kept for twenty-six months.

You can ask us to show you the information we hold about you, correct it if it is wrong, or delete it where we are not required to keep it. You can withdraw consent to marketing emails or texts at any time without affecting anything else.

This site sets a cookie containing a random visitor identifier so that pages work correctly across a visit and so we can tell how many people viewed a page. We also use a session cookie when you log in.

This site is not directed at anyone under eighteen, and we do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

If we change this policy we will update the date shown at the foot of this page. Material changes will be notified to registered users by email.
